3. Please be aware of all the costs:
- In addition to the minimum capital contribution of $500,000, American Life, which sells its properties to each Limited Partnership at cost, requires fees of $35,000 to cover a variety of formation and marketing expenses. - The $35,000 expenses are paid as to $25,000 to the Limited Partnership, as a part of your capital contribution, and $10,000 to American Life Inc.
- Legal fees vary according to the work involved but are unlikely to exceed $12,000.
- The EB5 visa filing fee, payable to the USCIS, is $465 per applicant.
- The fee to the NVC (National Visa Center) is $380 per applicant.
- Medical examinations are $145 for each adult and $125 for children under 15.
The total fees for a family of two adults and a child under 15 will total approximately $50,000.
